Avalon Instruments Research Division develop projects in the Space Weather field, with particular attention on the impact of the Solar Activity on the Earth and on the human infrastructure/technology and on the Space Debris problem.
In collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) has been already developed the SAMM project and Sky on Earth Project.
While the SAMM project focuses on the Solar Activity the Sky on Earth (aka SoE) is mainly aimed to the study of astrophysical transient phenomena like gravitational Wave Counterparts search and Time-Domain Astronomy. This project also research on the characterization of Near Earth Asteroids (NEAs) and on the discovery and tracking of Space Debris.
